Hampton Inn Petersburg-Fort Lee

The downside was this hotel is currently under construction. It's going through a major update. Our stay in one of the updated rooms was nice. Grab and go breakfast was enough to hold us until we found a restaurant. Felt terrible for check-in staff who had to keep explaining that the hotel website states it's under construction, 3rd party vendors like booking.com however do not. He was an ace at being cordial about it.

I don’t know how the hotel was because you guys double booked it and I didn’t stay there. You need to refund my money.

Breakfast was excellent many hot and cold choices. Staff was helpful and polite. They did not rush us our of the breakfast room. It was close to the highway and not far from the Petersburg National Battlefield where we visited in the morning........last battle of the Civil War, 70,000 dead and lasted for 9+ months Lee surrendered at Appomatax one week later

Me and my friend enjoyed staying at your hotel. We were up most of the night talking on the sofa .The rooms were so, clean, comfortable ,and relaxing ..cannot wait to come back .
